Course Description

This survey of missions covers the biblical basis for missions, an evaluation of the major religions of the continents and approaches to evangelize these people groups. In addition this class will cover the missionary call, preparation, on-field ministries, and mission boards.

What in the World Is God Doing? The Essentials of Global Missions: An Introductory Guide 5th Edition by C. Gordon Olson (included in the cost of the class)

2        Attendance Requirements

A      Students are allowed to miss 2 classes unless special arrangements have been made with the instructor.

B      Students are responsible for all work missed during absences and should complete their makeup work within one week of returning to class.

 

Schedule and Cost

1        Time: Sundays, 3–5 PM

2        Dates: September 12, 2010 – December 12, 2010 (13 weeks of class)
