Dr. Dennis Bollinger

 

Dennis received a Diploma in Missions from the Moody Bible Institute, later earning a B.A. in Bible, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Church History from Bob Jones University. He is an ordained Baptist minister, former pastor, and educator who has taught history on the high school and college level. Dennis is currently the lead author for Secondary Heritage Studies at BJU Press. He served as a contributing author for the third edition of Heritage 5 and 6, the third edition of American Republic, and the fourth edition of United States History. Dennis has recently written the third edition of World Studies. In addition, he is the author of First-Generation Anabaptist Ecclesiology, 1525-1561, published in 2008.

Dennis loves God’s Word and history and enjoys opportunities to challenge others to broaden their knowledge of both, while sharing his passion for history presented with a Christian worldview.
